Records Management Center is looking for a self-motivated, detail oriented, energetic, and highly organized person to work at our scanning facility. As a Document Imaging Specialist, it is your main responsibility to produce the highest quality product for our scanning customers. Specific areas of focus for this role include Document Prep, Electronic Document Imaging and Quality Control.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Scanning high volumes of hard-copy pages to digital images
- Maintains security and confidentiality of the information being processed
- Manual document preparation: Removing staples, sorting and preparing hard copies to scan
- Verifies quality of images during capture, confirms all images are captured, and validates that all images captured meet quality standards.
- Performs post-scan processing including editing, naming and file Optical Character Recognition (‘OCR’)
- Ensure high-volume scan production while producing quality images
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance on a daily basis and Troubleshoot issues with scanning equipment and software
- Ability to follow procedures and make suggestions for process improvements
Job Requirements:
- Associate Degree or equivalent is preferred
- 1-3 Years of document imaging experience is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and MS Excel
- Experience editing files with Adobe Acrobat X Pro or similar software
- Must be personable, professional, task-oriented, highly organized and must possess excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals
- Focus on productivity and success as a team
- Must be able to work a flexible 40-hour week Mon-Fri between 7:00 am-5:00pm, with occasional extended hours.
- Ability to see long-term projects through to completion
- Candidates will be required to pass pre-employment skills testing.
- Average 50-60 WPM on keyboard, Average 8,000KPH 10-key
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. from floor level to waist level and carry it a maximum of 10 yards, sometimes up to 10 times per shift.
