The Opportunity: As a Mobile Shredding Specialist at Shredding On Site, you’ll be the friendly face of our company. You’ll drive a shredding truck, providing secure, on-site document destruction, and ensuring every client interaction is positive. This role blends customer service, problem-solving, and hands-on work, helping businesses and people protect sensitive information.
Who We Are: Shredding On Site provides secure, on-demand shredding across Maine and Northern New England. We value personal connections, dependability, and innovative thinking. Our mission is to make secure document destruction easy and efficient, treating customers and team members like family.
What You’ll Do:
- Build strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Operate a shredding truck, visiting clients for on-site document destruction.
- Handle compliance paperwork and follow safety and security protocols.
- Conduct routine checks to keep your truck and equipment in top condition.
Must-haves in a Candidate:
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Comfortable driving larger vehicles (no special license needed—we provide training).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
Nice to Have in a Candidate:
- Experience in customer service or driving larger vehicles (but we’ll train the right person).
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
